RN LAWN MOWING

Terms of Service & Business Guidelines

Agreement of Terms: By scheduling and accepting regular or one-off lawn maintenance services from RN Lawn Mowing, you agree to comply with and be bound by the operational terms outlined below. These terms safeguard clear communication and fair standard operating procedures under New Zealand commercial practices.

  1. Scope of Services
    • RN Lawn Mowing provides professional residential and light commercial lawn care, edge trimming, and basic grass clipping disposal as agreed upon during initial quoting. Any additional garden maintenance, weed treatment, or clearing work must be specifically requested and quoted separately.
  2. Access and Property Safety
    • Access and Property Safety
      • Clear Access: Gates must be unlocked or access codes shared with the operator prior to arrival. If a property is locked out, a standard call-out fee may apply.
      • Debris & Toys: Lawns must be clear of toys, clothes, large branches, hoses, and foreign objects.
      • Pet Waste: For hygiene and mechanical safety reasons, animal waste must be completely cleared from the lawn area prior to our arrival.
  3. Property Damage Risk & Hazards
    • Our team operates powerful commercial tools. While we exercise extreme care, safety is a shared responsibility:
      • Hidden Hazards: Clients must inform us of any hidden property hazards, such as low-lying irrigation heads, exposed cables, un-capped pipes, or loose stones.
      • Existing Structures: We take no responsibility for minor damage to property items left un-cleared on the lawn or delicate fixtures close to the edging boundary that were not flagged in advance.
  4. Scheduling and Weather Disruption
    • Lawn care is heavily dependent on weather conditions. In the event of heavy rain, persistent wet ground, or extreme seasonal circumstances, RN Lawn Mowing reserves the right to postpone or modify scheduled service dates to protect the integrity of your turf from muddy tyre tracks or tearing.
  5. Pricing, Invoicing, and Payment
    • We believe in straightforward, reliable pricing structures:
      • Payment Windows: Invoices are distributed digitally via email upon service completion. Standard payment terms require settlement within 7 business days from the date of the invoice unless otherwise explicitly written.
      • Overgrown Surcharges: If a scheduled lawn has grown excessively long due to skipped sessions or client requests to delay a cut, an additional first-visit or overgrowth fee may be applied to cover the extra operational time and blade wear.
  6. Cancellation and Termination
    • Clients can cancel a single appointment or terminate regular maintenance arrangements at any point. However, we strictly require at least 24 to 48 hours notice prior to the scheduled service window. Cancellations at the gate or upon arrival may incur a flat-rate call-out penalty fee.
